Mark 15.40. Some women were watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joseph,[d] and Salome. 41. In Galilee these women had followed him and cared for his needs. Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were also there. 43. Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Council, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus’ body.

Mark 16.1.When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. 5. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. 6. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’”

John 16.1.“All this I have told you so that you will not fall away. 2. They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. Acts 9.1.Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest 2. and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem.

Acts 7.58. dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul. 59. While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60. Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep.

Acts 9.3. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

Acts 9.4. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” 5. “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied.

Acts 9.8. Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. 9. For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything.19. and after taking some food, he regained his strength. Saul spent several days with the disciples in Damascus. 20. At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God.
